Rituals

 

During the Festival there will be several open rituals or ceremonies held in our Sacred Space Ritual area. Please be sure to check at the main entrance booth where an updated schedule will be available with any changes or additions to our events.

We are currently seeking individuals and/or groups to host a ritual during our 2010 event. We have times open for morning, afternoon or evening rituals. Please contact us with the following information: Name of Ritual, Tradition, Day you would like to do the ritual: Sat. Sept. 18th or Sunday, Sept. 19th 2010 and send in an application Contact Us

If you choose to host a ritual or to join us in circle please read the information and guidelines. These guidelines are for safety seasons.

  • All groups or person hosting a ritual must supply all their own materials.
  • Please do not exceed 30 minutes in length. Including opening and closing of ritual.
  • All rituals must be suitable for all ages.
  • Please No sharing of cups or drinks. Dixie cups are suggested.
  • Please do Not use any type of anointing oil for safety reasons. Water for anointing is suggested.
  • No alcohol allowed at any time per VFW rules.
  • Please have ritual space set up 15 minutes prior to start.

We truly want to Thank You for your time and for helping make this a successful event

NOTE: Because we want to have a variety of different traditions presented at the festival we must jury which ones we will accept, therefore, the more information you provide about you and your ritual, the better we will be able to decide on accepting it. We choose which rituals will be held at our festival that will cover a wide variety of traditions, such as Wiccan, Eclectic, Dianic, Asatru, Druid, Shamanism, and other other religions.

Family of the Goddess will be hosting a Children’s ritual, everyone is welcome.
